3/21/2023 0 Comments Runestone keeper mummyI wield a 2H staff and increase his Stamina to 5 early, then dump the rest into his Intelligence. My preferred set up is Merlyn and the God of Evil. My strategy for Chaos is the same that I mentioned for some various Runeword acheivements. (Svafa) -> Dead Pupil (Event Item) -> If you get this item, the griffin (Jack) does not appear for the boss fight. (Option that wasn't be silent) (Hogg) -> Eye of Death (Event Item) I have never regretted my choice.(Svafa) -> Nothing Happened. I had my fate under control.(Guy) -> Dead Pupil (Event Item) -> If you get this item, the griffin (Jack) does not appear for the boss fight. Success -> Get Wolf Paw Mark -> If you get the mark, the wolf (Jones) does not appear for the boss fight. (Stamina check?) -> Success -> Get Wolf Paw Mark -> If you get the mark, the wolf (Jones) does not appear for the boss fight. Counter attack (Strength check?) -> Success -> Get Wolf Paw Mark, +5 HP -> If you get the mark, the wolf (Jones) does not appear for the boss fight. Kill the other creatures before approaching -> +15 Soul or +3 mana, and Wolf Paw Mark -> If you get the mark, the wolf (Jones) does not appear for the boss fight. You can see a pair of bloody eyes staring at you from the mist, he seems exhausted, but you can feel the hunger. "The blood on this floor indicates that a massacre probably took place here. The events that I know of are as follows: Random events throughout the dungeon can prevent these helpers from spawning and in turn make the fight easier. I could be wrong - it could be totally random - but I definitely noticed a correlation between how I was doing and which boss I encountered.Īncient Memories spawns with four "helpers" during the fight. I *believe* that the game may throw the harder bosses at your if your character is in a stronger position in terms of equipment and whatnot when you reach the level. In fact, my last three runs were all The One. The more that I played, though, and the better that I got - the more often I began to encounter Ancient Memories or The One. My first 5 or 6 runs were Nightmare Fiend so I originally thought that Ancient Memories was going to be an extremely rare boss encounter. So, you'll not only have to make it to the last floor of the dungeon, you'll also have to be lucky enough to spawn the proper boss - and then kill it!Īs a personal anecdote - when I first started running Chaos mode I would encounter Nightmare Fiend frequently. Unfortunately, Nightmare Fiend still has a chance to appear instead of them in Nightmare and Chaos mode. These two bosses will not appear in normal mode, you must be playing in Nightmare or Chaos. I personally killed The One when it popped for me. Killing either Ancient Memories or The One will unlock this achievements. They are the Nightmare Fiend, Ancient Memories and The One. There are a total of three different bosses that you can encounter in Runestone Keeper.
